About Us

Tim Giddens

Managing Director

Tim along with his wife Courtney and their two sons, Chase and Max, have called Dunedin their home since joining the West Harbour Community in 2014. Tim has over 20 years’ experience in the drainage and three waters infrastructure industry. Having worked across New Zealand and Australia for some of their largest infrastructure maintenance providers, he brings a wealth of knowledge to the liquid waste industry.

Tim enjoys being able to problem solve for customers to offer extra insight whether he is emptying a residential septic tank or creating a storm water management plan for a commercial client. While his passion is with liquid waste, when he is not hard at work, you can find him supporting his local Harbour Hawks rugby team.

Courtney Giddens

Commercial Manager/Director

Courtney is OVTS’ Commercial Manager and behind the scenes project manager, marketing and all over administration guru. Having been immersed in the diverse world of HR and sales, in the US, Australia and New Zealand over the last 14 years, Courtney and her bubbly personality enjoy being the first port of call for all of our customers while running OVTS’ ongoing projects, health and safety and marketing.

Originally from America, Courtney along with her family has called Dunedin home since 2014. You can generally find Courtney near the water in her spare time and making the most of what her local Aramoana community has to offer with her family and dog (Bethany).

In the Community

At OVTS, supporting our local community isn’t just something we do – it’s part of who we are. We’re proud sponsors of the Harbour Hawks Junior Rugby Club and actively support the Aramoana community and league. We also support Ronald McDonald House through the collection of their used cooking oil.

Our commitment to giving back also extends to the environment. We regularly partner with local schools to run planting days, getting kids involved in hands-on sustainability efforts that help reduce our carbon footprint and foster a stronger connection to the land we all share.
